COVID-19 has made many things – including a cancer diagnosis – more challenging. This webinar will cover various legal issues that may stem from a cancer diagnosis, including employment law, insurance options and disability insurance, and laws that protect people affected by cancer.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought health to the forefront and underscores the importance of accessible information about health insurance. This webinar will be particularly helpful for those with cancer who are concerned about losing their health insurance, or want to change coverage, whether they are shopping on or off the health insurance marketplace.
COVID-19 has changed the workplace in significant ways, and there are additional considerations for those affected by cancer. This webinar will break down the most useful information about COVID-related protections related to employment and about the laws that have been in place and that will remain after COVID-related laws are projected to end.
The COVID-19 pandemic has reinforced that a person’s health can change rapidly. Whether affected by COVID or not, it’s a reminder that a person with cancer may require more specialized care. By planning in advance, people diagnosed with cancer can help ensure that their wishes about treatment will be followed. This webinar will encourage people to plan ahead to ensure that their loved ones – and assets – are protected. It will provide an overview of advanced healthcare directives, powers of attorney for financial affairs, and wills and trusts.
