Saddia Khan is the Staff Attorney leading the Cancer Justice project at the Disability Rights Legal Center, where she directs local and national efforts to support individuals and families navigating a cancer diagnosis. She oversees a department dedicated to addressing critical legal needs for cancer patients, including housing stability, health care access, estate planning, and disability rights.

With nearly two decades of civil litigation experience, Saddia has handled a wide range of matters, focusing on resolving complex disputes and protecting individual rights. Her background in both nonprofit and private practice has equipped her with the skills to advocate effectively for vulnerable communities while also engaging with systemic issues of access and equity.

At Cancer Justice, Saddia is spearheading initiatives to modernize resources for patients, train the next generation of advocates, and build partnerships with hospitals, law firms, and community organizations nationwide. Her work reflects a holistic vision: informing patients and caregivers of their rights in critical moments and empowering them with knowledge.

Saddia earned her J.D. from Arizona State University College of Law in 2005 and is licensed to practice in California. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
