Norma Montano is the Legal Assistant in the litigation program at the Disability Rights Legal Center (DRLC). Ms. Montano has been the Legal Assistant at DRLC for over 12 years. A former Legal Assistant at Callas & Heise LLP Workers Compensation Law Office in Upland, California.
Ms. Montano is a 2006 graduate of Chaffey College. Was on the Dean’s list throughout her education career. Received Associate Degrees in Business Administration, Accounting and Liberal Arts and Science. She can communicate effectively in Spanish and multi-task. She is a hard worker, honest and reliable employee. Ms. Montano provides training and support to our Law Students. She develops strong interpersonal relationships with the students. She is a Christian Teacher and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. While our clients experience open and frequent communication with their attorney, Norma is an additional liaison between the clients and our firm. Our law attorneys look to her often as the initial contact with our clients. She is also relied upon by the attorneys for e-filing necessary documents, scheduling appointments, and court appearances, as well as keeping the client files organized. Her compassion and ability to seve our clients are her day-to-day motivations.
Outside of work, Ms. Montano enjoys hiking and jogging either with friends or alone. She also enjoys spending time with her daughter either by going shopping or to the movies.
