Join DRLC at the 7th Annual Super Fest

 In Announcements

DRLC is proud to partner with the Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams, and The Matthew Foundation to bring the 7th Annual Super Fest, an inclusive football and cheer camp, to Los Angeles.

This one-of-a-kind experience is held annually on the day before the NFL Super Bowl in the Super Bowl host city. The two-hour-long inclusive skills clinic culminates in a gameday experience for all participants, complete with live performances of the national anthem, entrance of football players into the stadium through a cheerleading tunnel, football scrimmages, and cheer performances.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, February 12th, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Ed Vincent Park in Inglewood, California. This year, participants will join NFL alumni, NFL cheerleaders, Chargers General Manager (TBC), and ESPN. The two-hour-long skills clinic will culminate in a game day experience for all participants, complete with live performances of the national anthem, entrance of football players into the stadium through a cheerleading tunnel, football scrimmages, and cheer performances.

To make the event as enjoyable and accessible as possible, registrants have the option of participating as a Football Player or Cheerleader. The event is affordably priced at $30 per registrant, with family discounts and scholarships available. Community members of all ages and abilities are invited to register.

For seven consecutive years, Super Fest has provided an opportunity for youth with developmental disabilities to participate together with their peers, and to be genuinely welcomed and made to feel a part of the Big Game weekend. The effort has been spearheaded by The Matthew Foundation, a private operating charitable foundation that strives to make a meaningful impact for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities one program at a time. The Matthew Foundation closely collaborates with regional disability advocacy organizations to ensure it meets the needs of the community.
