Last Sunday, DRLC was honored with the Tom McGuiness Community Leadership Award. The award, which was presented at Housing Works’ Annual Fundraising Dinner, is granted each year to individuals or groups that embody the spirit of community and respect for each person.
DRLC is proud to have been recognized, with co-counsel Western Center on Law and Poverty, Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, Public Counsel, and Morrison & Foerster LLP, as “System Changers.” Thanks to all of those who have helped us create a healthier community, especially Housing Works, who does whatever it takes for as long as it takes to fulfill its mission to create housing options for people with limited resources.
