The Disability Rights Legal Center (DRLC) is proud to present the 2025 DREAM Award to RJ Mitte, an award-winning actor and anti-bullying advocate living with cerebral palsy.

DRLC’s DREAM Award, presented each year at our FDR Gala, recognizes those actively pushing boundaries and shattering barriers to inspire change in entertainment, arts, and media.

Best known for his portrayal of Walter “Flynn” White, Jr. in the Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning show “Breaking Bad,” RJ Mitte is an actor, advocate and philanthropist breaking down stereotypes in the global spotlight. He serves as president of The Mitte Foundation, official Ambassador for United Cerebral Palsy and Shriners Hospitals for Children, and active member in SAG-AFTRA’s Performers with Disabilities Committee.

Mitte leverages his platform as an actor and public speaker to advocate for anti-bullying measures, champion people living with cerebral palsy, and challenge stigma.
