Justin Reissman is an Outreach Paralegal at the Disability Rights Legal Center’s Cancer Legal Resource Center (CLRC) in Los Angeles, California. Justin coordinates and conducts outreach at local and national cancer-related health fairs and community events. Additionally, Justin works with CLRC staff attorneys and volunteers to provide legal information and resources to cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and health care providers who contact the CLRC’s national Telephone Assistance Line.

Prior to this position, Justin worked for Human Rights First on asylum cases. While at Human Rights First Justin worked on a variety of cases, and won asylum for two direct representation clients. Justin spent both summers in law school as an intern at Human Rights First. During law school, he ran the Expungement Clinic, participated in the Innocence and Justice Clinic, and was active in a variety of pro bono projects, including the Know Your Rights project.

Justin earned his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California, Riverside.
