Jacqueline Cortes joined the Disability Rights Legal Center in January of 2018 as an Administrative Assistant and was promoted as Legal Assistant. Before joining the DRLC, Ms. Cortes worked at the United Farmworkers Foundation and the Central American Resource Center, both organizations focused on empowering all immigrants by defending human and civil rights.

Ms. Cortes received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles with a major in Spanish Studies/Literature. Ms. Cortes enjoys plant shopping and traveling in her spare time.
