Brendan joined the Disability Rights Legal Center– where he interned as a first year law student– as a Senior Staff Attorney in April of 2020.

Prior to joining DRLC, Brendan worked at the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern CA as a staff attorney for over seven years. There, he worked on a wide range of civil rights and liberties issues, including freedom of speech, government transparency and accountability, due process, privacy, students rights, LGBTQ rights, criminal justice, police practices, and voting rights through impact litigation, policy advocacy, and community engagement.

When he isn’t protecting the rights of people with disabilities, he enjoys drone photography, kayak surfing, lightsaber fencing, and kenjutsu.
