LASD lawsuit was filed on behalf of inmates with mobility impairments in the Los Angeles County jail system. Plaintiffs argued that the inaccessibility issues within the jails violated their rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), California and federal statutes, and the Eighth and Fourteenth Amendments of the U.S. Constitution.
